Your site seems a little thrown together. I read a bunch of the show comments; is there anyone you do enjoy seeing live? Maybe you should ease up and leave a little room to enjoy things other than what is popular with those young, midwest, Bright Eyes-type hipsters (see your reviews of Mates of State and I am the World Trade Center).

It is true! I am incapable of giving unqualified praise to musicians. It is hard enough just looking cool and collected while, say, Lyrics Born is rocking out so hard that middle-aged jazz savants (is that the word?) have to set down their wine glasses in order to throw their hands up in the air.
So, thanks for the perceptive comment. I've not received one of those from a stranger before.
